My programming journey began with a classic case of “I’ll just do it myself.” I needed a website for my photography portfolio, but the templates out there felt… uninspiring. So I rolled up my sleeves and built my own. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. Was it the start of something awesome? Definitely.
When the pandemic arrived, I suddenly had time—and I put it to good use. I went all in on learning how to code for real: devouring video tutorials, completing front-end challenges on freeCodeCamp, enrolling in Scrimba’s Front-End Developer Career Path, and building real-world projects with JavaScript and React. Trial, error, repeat. A lot.
Since then, I’ve been on a constant quest to get better. I love crafting responsive, well-designed web apps and user interfaces that don’t just work—they wow. I keep up with the latest tools, techniques, and trends so my work stays modern, clean, and ahead of the curve.

Vidly is a powerful CRUD application designed to streamline the operations of a mock movie rental company. This app offers a seamless user experience for managing movies, genres, daily rental rates, customers, and rentals. It leverages ReactJS and Bootstrap for the frontend, while the backend is powered by Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

During its creation, I delved into the powerful features of Next.js, expanding my knowledge of the framework. I also incorporated CSS animations to elevate the user experience, making this website a dynamic showcase of my skills and creativity.

A multi-page restaurant website that I designed and developed for The Nook London. The site contains a hero image on the home page that aims to give the user a glimpse of their Turkish inspired contemporary food. There is also a booking widget where the users can make table enquiries.
